Arrival by JR Train

  • For a free shuttle service from the train station to the hotel please make sure to alert us of your train arrival time well in advance, preferably the day before, by sending us an email: yoyaku@honjinhiranoya.com
  • On the e-mail make sure to identify yourself by using the same name you used on the reservation and also do not forget to provide the reservation date.
  • At the JR Takayama Station, after you exit the ticketing gate on the second floor, please head to the nearby waiting room and wait there for our staff. Please do NOT take the escalator down to the first floor and wait outside
  • Also the train to Takayama, either from Toyama or Nagoya, has no on-board food and beverage service. If you would like to share snacks and drinks with your family/friends while enjoying the passing scenery, please make sure to buy them before you board the train.
  • Important: The latest starting time for dinner is 19:00. Please check in by 17:00 at the latest.

  • At the Takayama Nohi Bus Center, please wait for our staff at the waiting room. Please remain inside the building and and do not go wondering off ouside searching for our staff and the shuttle bus.
  • Please make sure to provide us with the information on where you will be boarding the bus, such as Nagoya and Shirakawa-Go.
  • Important: The latest starting time for dinner is 19:00. Please check in by 17:00 at the latest.

Arrival by Car

  • We have free valet parking without overnight parking fee. Just drive up to the entrance and our staff will take care of your car.

Touring Shirakawa-Go?

  • The half-day tour by !Site is an ideal and economical way of touring the World Heritage Site, Shirakawa-Go.
  • The Takayama Nohi Bus Center, situated next to the JR Takayama Station, is about 10 min. away from the hotel on foot and about 3 min. away from the hotel by taxi.
  • It will take approximately 50 minutes one-way from Takayama to Shirakawa-Go by the highway express bus.
  • Bus to and from Shirakawa-Go and Kanazawa requires reservation.
  • Some buses to and from Takayama and Shirakawa-Go does not require reservation.

Already in Town the Night Before Your Check In Date?

We may provide you with the free shuttle service as long as the pickup location is either the JR Takayama Station or the Takayama Nohi Bus Center and that you call us the day before regading the meeting time. Depending on where you will be staying in Takayama the night before, it may be closer for you to walk to the hotel than walking to the station.
